
Whidbey Island Ice Cream Company started up in 2005, with the first ice cream pints appearing in local stores in September of that year. It is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Mike Rudd and Mary Stoll, of Langley, Washington - a real mom-and-pop business operation. Judy Keller joined the team in summer 2006.
We're located on south Whidbey Island, in the Puget Sound near Seattle, Washington. It's a 20-minute ferry ride from Mukilteo (next to Everett, on the mainland) to Clinton (on Whidbey) - or you can drive across the scenic Deception Pass bridge, some 40 miles to the north.
